Berekum Chelsea have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Jamal Haruna on a three-year contract as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The talented attacker joins the Blues after previous spells with Ghanaian side West African Football Academy (WAFA) and French club Girondins de Bordeaux, where he gained valuable experience in European football.
Haruna, known for his pace, attacking movement and ability to operate across the forward line, is expected to add more creativity and firepower to Berekum Chelsea’s attack.
The former Bordeaux player developed through Ghana’s renowned youth football system before making the move abroad, where he continued his progression with the French club.
He is scheduled to join his new teammates on Thursday as he begins preparations for the upcoming campaign.
Berekum Chelsea will be hoping Haruna’s technical ability and attacking qualities can help the club compete strongly in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
