Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah has officially announced his departure from Saudi Pro League club Al Tai.
The 29-year-old shared the news on his official X page, expressing his gratitude with the words, “Always grateful,” accompanied by a heartfelt message.
Mensah joined Al Tai on a free transfer on July 15, 2023, and quickly established himself as a vital part of the team.
He made an immediate impact, scoring his first goal from the penalty spot in a match against Al-Hazm on September 16, 2023.
Over the course of the 2023/24 Saudi Pro League season, Mensah appeared in 30 matches, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists. His impressive performance earned him 11th place on the league’s top scorers list.
In his farewell message, Mensah expressed his deep appreciation to the Al Tai supporters for their constant encouragement, stating, “I would like to thank you all for always supporting and giving me strength. I tried to do my best to make you happy this season.”
