Former Hearts of Oak centre-back Robert Addo Sowah is continuing his football journey with Police Nationals in the Access Bank Division One League.
The experienced defender was in action on Tuesday as Police Nationals competed in the MTN FA Cup, but their campaign came to an end after a closely fought 3–2 defeat to Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders.
Despite the loss, Police Nationals put up a strong performance against their top-flight opponents, pushing the game to the limit before bowing out of the competition. Sowah’s involvement added experience and leadership at the back as the lower-tier side tested themselves against elite opposition.
Police Nationals will now turn their attention back to the Division One League, while Eleven Wonders progress to the next stage of the MTN FA Cup.
