Ghanaian midfielder Salifu Ibrahim shone brightly in his debut start for FC Drita, leading his team to a commanding 3-0 victory over Prishtina in the Kosovan Super Liga.
The 24-year-old joined FC Drita from Hearts of Oak after his contract ended and immediately made his mark in the top division. In his first start, he played a crucial role, assisting in one of the goals that propelled FC Drita to victory on matchday 11 of the season.
The game began with Kosovo international Besnik Krasniqi giving FC Drita an early lead, scoring from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute. Just two minutes later, Albert Dabiqaj doubled the lead, further energizing the home fans. Dabiqaj struck again in the 88th minute to secure a decisive win.
Since joining the club during the summer transfer window, Ibrahim has made four appearances and is determined to solidify his place in the squad. His performance in this match will certainly boost his chances.
The talented Ghanaian signed a three-year contract with FC Drita, committing him to the club until 2027.
