Former Hearts of Oak star Abdul Manaf Umar has started a new chapter in his football journey. The experienced and gifted midfielder has joined Ethiopian Premier League side Welwalo City FC.
Manaf is well known by Ghanaian football fans. He first made a name for himself playing with Hearts of Oak, one of Ghana’s biggest clubs.
Later, he continued to show his skills with Real Tamale United, where he impressed with his passing and creativity on the field coupled with superlative strikes.
Now, he takes his talent to Ethiopia, hoping to shine in a new league. Welwalo City FC believes in his ability and is excited to have him in the team as he’s already becoming fans favourite with his great vision and eye for goals.
This move gives Manaf a fresh opportunity to grow as a player and make his mark in East African football.
