Victorien Adebayor, the former forward for Inter Allies and Legon Cities FC, has officially become a member of the South African Premier Soccer League team, AmaZulu FC.
The Nigerien player has inked a two-year contract with the club based in Durban.
Although Adebayor had been on the brink of a 2-year deal with Tanzanian side Simba, the transfer fell through at the last minute.
Micky Junior, an expert in African football, has confirmed Adebayor’s move to the club located in the Kwazulu Natal Province.
In 2022, Adebayor made a switch from Nigerien club USGN to RS Berkane, for a reported fee of $100,000.
Adebayor’s professional journey has seen him play for Ghanaian clubs Inter Allies and Legon Cities, and he has also had spells in Denmark with HB Koege.
Additionally, he has been associated with AS Douanes in Niger and had a loan stint with ENPPI in Egypt.
