Former coach of Wydad Casablanca and the former Moroccan international, Adil Ramzi, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Netherlands U18 national team.
Adil Ramzi, 46, was born in Marrakech Morocco but spent most of his career in the Netherlands. In very good news for African football, the young Moroccan manager has been appointed by the Dutch FA to manage their U18 side.
Wydad Casablanca appointed Ramzi in the summer of 2023 and he began the current season with the Moroccan giants. His stay with Wydad was marked with roller coaster moments and he was subsequently sacked by the Casablanca club after being in charge for just 5 months.
He took Wydad to the finals of the maiden edition of the African Football League and lost to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Jong PSV manager has gotten an opportunity to write the wrongs at Wydad Athletic with the Dutch U18. Adil Ramzi is highly rated as he’s considered one of the top talents in coaching.
