French-born Ghanaian forward Godson Kyeremeh played a pivotal role for SM Caen as they secured a vital away point against Bordeaux in the French Ligue 2.
The 23-year-old was in the starting lineup and contributed for 72 minutes in their 1-1 draw with Bordeaux at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique.
Caen took an early lead just 15 minutes into the game, with Alexandre Mendy scoring after an assist from the French-Ghanaian attacker.
However, the home team fought back and equalized before halftime, with Zuriko Davitashvili finding the net in the 34th minute.
With no further goals scored, both teams had to settle for a draw at the end of the crucial match.
While Kyeremeh has yet to open his scoring account this season, he has recorded four assists in the French second-tier league.
