Asante Kotoko Communications Director David Obeng Nyarko says Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama remains committed to the club and is confident the playmaker will extend his contract.
“Gama is committed to Kotoko. He knows what the club has done for him and his family is here.” David Obeng Nyarko told Kumasi-based Fox FM on Thursday.
Gama joined the Porcupine Warriors in October 2020 and that deal is set to expire this year.
“That is how negotiations are done. It takes some time but what I can say is that Gama remains committed to the Kotoko project” he added.
Asante Kotoko SC on Oct 23, 2020 tweeted : “The former Brazilian U 17 , U 20 and Jönköping Södra ( Sweden ) baller has joined us on a 2-year contract.”
Meanwhile the playmaker has not featured prominently this season for the team of Prosper Narteh Ogum due to series of injuries but the Porcupine Warriors still value the addition of the Brazilian.
