German-born Ghanaian forward Ragnar Prince Friedel Ache, has completed a one-year loan switch to German 2 Bundesliga side SPVGG Greuther Furth from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Born in Frankfurt, Ache who is of Ghanaian descent, can be used in the center of the attack, but also in wing and half positions on the offensive.
The promising attacker was trained at Sparta Rotterdam and played 13 times and provided one assist for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga last season.
Ache also made three brief appearances in the UEFA Europa League for the title holder.
Rachid Azzouzi, Managing Director Sport was pleased with the striker’s capture.
“Ragnar has a very good disposition and examined many options in the summer, but made a conscious decision in favor of us. With him we’ll get more opportunities going forward.” And coach Marc Schneider said.
“Ragnar has power, dynamism and a good finish. I’m delighted that he has chosen us.”
Ragnar Ache expressed excitement after completing the deal on Tuesday 14th June, 2022 in the afternoon.
“I’m looking forward to a young team with great potential – and above all to more playing time. Fürth is a very good place for young players, and that’s proven here year after year. I feel very good about my decision to come to Fürth and I want to have a very good time with the team and the fans.”
The 23-year-old has represented the German U-21 national team (1 goal) and in 2021 for the German Olympic team (2 goals).
Ache will wear shirt number 39 at Greuther Furth.
