German-born Ghanaian attacker Ragnar Prince Friedel Ache was on target for Dimitrios Grammozis‘ FC Kaiserslautern as the Red Devils defeated FC Nürnberg 2-0 on Tuesday night to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup.
Achie, who had returned from weeks out injured, registered his name on the score-sheet in the 78th minute after fellow-German-born forward Richmond Tachie had shot FC Kaiserslautern ahead in the 78th minute mark of the game.
Achie, 25, has scored once in in his single appearance for Kaiserslautern in the 2023/24 DFB Cup and also netted 6 goals in 10 caps for his side in the German 2 Bundesliga.
Meanwhile Richmond Tachie has scored two goals in three games for his side in the 2023/24 German DFB Cup. He has also netted twice in 13 caps for the team in the German 2 Bundesliga this campaign.
