The German-born Ghanaian striker was on target for Dimitrios Grammozis‘ FC Kaiserslautern as the Red Devils defeated FC Nürnberg 2-0 on Tuesday night to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup.
Tachie, a former Dortmund youth star, registered his name on the score-sheet in the 75th minute to put Kaiserslautern ahead before fellow-German-born forward Ragnar Achie who had returned from weeks out injured, increased the lead to 2-0 after a one-two with Richmond Tachie in the 78th minute mark of the game.
Tachie, has scored two goals in three games for his side in the 2023/24 German DFB Cup. He has also netted twice in 13 caps for the team in the German 2 Bundesliga this campaign.
