The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended its support to Ampem Darkoa Ladies in preparation for the CAF Women’s Champions League. Ampem Darkoa Ladies will conduct a week-long camp at the Ghanaman Technical Center in Prampram, fully funded by the GFA to aid their campaign in the main Champions League.
A delegation comprising 26 players and 8 members of the technical team arrived at the Technical Center on Tuesday, October 25, to prepare for the upcoming tournament.
This marks the second time this year that the GFA has backed Ampem Darkoa Ladies. The team previously benefited from a two-week camp at the same facility before going on to win the WAFU Zone B qualifiers in Benin City, Nigeria.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been drawn into Group B alongside AS FAR Club, AS Mande, and Huracanes FC.
The CAF Women’s Champions League is scheduled to kick off on November 5, 2023, in Ivory Coast.
