The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has handed Nations FC a one-match home ban and a GHC 6,000 fine after incidents of fan misconduct marred their Match Day 6 Ghana Premier League fixture against Bibiani Goldstars FC at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The disciplinary action follows a GFA investigation that found the club culpable for not safeguarding match officials, leading to an assault by some supporters during the game. As a result, Nations FC’s next home fixture against Nsoatreman FC will be moved to a neutral venue.
In addition to these penalties, the GFA issued a strict warning, stating that any further misconduct in future matches could attract even more severe sanctions. T
