The 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) kicks off today, August 26, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.
This event is a significant gathering for football stakeholders across Ghana, with delegates expected to arrive by 12:00 noon to participate in various activities aimed at advancing football development in the country.
Delegates will engage in group meetings, each focusing on different thematic areas critical to the growth and progress of football in Ghana.
A key highlight of the Congress will be GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku’s groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new gym and swimming pool at the Soccer Center of Excellence.
The day will also feature a friendly football match between the Executive Council and the Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairmen. Additionally, a match between administrators from Premier League clubs and those from Division One League clubs is scheduled for tonight.
This two-day Congress will address vital issues within Ghanaian football, setting the stage for further progress and development in the sport.
