Experienced Football Administrator and Chairman of the Ghana League Club Association (GHALCA),Mr Kudjoe Fianoo is envisaging a great 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
He’s hopeful of a better season than the 2022-23 season which he described as a good campaign and remains optimistic that the upcoming season will surpass the previous campaign’s performance by the clubs.
He sounded very impressed with last season which produced a new winner Medeama who pipped Two-time Champions Aduana Stars FC to the title at the last moments.
“It took the last games before we could determine who won the league, who placed second, and even coming down with those who should be relegated,” he shared with Citi Sports.
“So it was a good league… I think when we tighten the screws, we’ll get better performance from our referees, and the crowd will also fall in line. So very good league, but I will want it to be better next season,” he asserted.
Ghana’s 2023-24 Premier League season starts in September, 2023.
