Ghana new striker, Antoine Semenyo trained with the Black Stars team for the first time at the Cape Coast stadium ahead of the upcoming matches.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward who’s in Ghana for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic had his training with the Black Stars team.
Semenyo was invited by Ghana coach Otto Addo for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Nigeria in March but could not honour the invitation due to injury.
He reported in Ghana on Friday and reported to camp as the team moved to Cape Coast to begin preparations for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic and the four nations tournament in Japan.
Semenyo is expected to debut for Ghana on Wednesday evening when they take on Madagascar at the Cape Coast stadium at 7pm.
He scored eight goals and provided 12 assists in the English Championship for Bristol City FC.
