Ghana’s Black Stars held their first training session at the Cape Coast stadium in the Central Region of Ghana after their arrival on Saturday.
Twenty seven players reported at camp as Ghana opened camping for their opening two matches in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic respectively.
Ghana captain, Andre Ayew was present along with so many familiar faces as Otto Addo and his assistant coaches, Mas Ud Didi Dramani, George Boateng and technical advisor Chris Hughton took charge of affairs.
Ghana will hold Madagascar at home in their first qualifier before travelling to face Central Africa Republic in their next match.
The Stars will later travel to to Japan for a four nation tournament before the players depart for their holidays ahead of the 2022 – 23 season at club level.
