Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku grabs Man-Of-The-Match award in Leicester City’s 5-0 mauling of promotion chasers Southampton FC in the English Championship on Tuesday evening after his hat-trick.

On loan from Sporting CP Lisbon in Portugal, , the Black Stars forward got his chance to shine in a crucial match of the league season at the King Power Stadium.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made the first mark on the scoreboard with a coolly taken shot in the 25th minute. He was set up perfectly by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

At halftime, Issahaku’s goal was the only thing dividing the two teams. But as the second half kicked off, Leicester City came back with a vengeance. Wilfred Ndidi found the net in the 62nd minute, doubling the Foxes’ lead.

Issahaku wasn’t done making his mark. In the 75th minute, he struck again, securing his second goal of the day. The crowd erupted as the scoreboard continued to favor Leicester.

Then, it was the turn of the seasoned Leicester star, Jamie Vardy. He seized the opportunity and added his name to the scoresheet in the 79th minute, courtesy of a pass from Issahaku.

The icing on the cake came in the 81st minute when Abdul Fatawu Issahaku completed his hat-trick. He found the back of the net from close range, sealing a remarkable 5-0 victory for Leicester City.

This resounding win propels Leicester City closer to securing automatic qualification for the English Premier League. It’s a testament to the team’s skill and determination.
