Ghana captain Andre Ayew has landed safely at Black Stars camp for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic.
The Clubless Skipper has been part of Ghana’s Black Stars team since 2008 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which was hosted in Ghana.
Despite playing for no club this season with zero minutes under his belt, the technical team led by Chris Hughton has handed the Veteran a surprise call up for the crucial game.
Ghana must avoid defeat against the minnows to make sure they qualify for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
The game will kick off at 4pm on Thursday afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
