Ghana international Daniel Amartey was at his quality best for Leicester City as they recorded a narrow 1-0 win against Manchester City to win the 2021 FA Community Shield title on Saturday evening at the Wembley Stadium.
Amartey, 26, was solid at the back for the Foxes who had to rely on Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho’s 89th-minute strike from the spot to win the trophy at the expense of Pep Guardiola’s team.
Amartey has now won three major titles at Leicester City after winning the Premier League title with the Foxes in 2015/16 and winning the FA Cup title last season.
