FC Basel advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League thanks to Kasim Adams’ heroics.
The Ghanaian international, on loan from Hoffenheim, scored the decisive goal in extra time, marking his first-ever European competition goal.
Despite conceding early against OGC Nice in the quarter-finals, Basel showed determination and fought back to level the score in the 87th minute with Jean-Kévin Augustin’s goal.
