Ghanaian international Nicholas Opoku made his debut for Kasimpasa on Monday night in a 1-1 draw against Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Opoku completed his transfer to Kasimpasa earlier in the day, joining the club as a free agent. Despite only joining the team hours before, he was immediately included in the starting lineup for their Week 2 fixture in the 2024/25 Turkish Super Lig season.
Playing as a right centre-back, Opoku delivered a solid performance throughout the full 90 minutes, helping his team secure a crucial point.
Following his debut, the Black Stars defender is eager to continue contributing to Kasimpasa as they progress through the Turkish Super Lig.
The match concluded with a 1-1 draw, as Joelson Fernandes’ goal for Hatayspor was equalized by a strike from Kasimpasa’s Nuno Da Costa.
