Ghanaian guardsman Mohammed Salisu has been named as the player with the highest number of interceptions for the just ended 2021/2022 EPL season.
The left-footed central defender made a total of 78 interceptions in the 34 games he played which was the highest for any player in the league.
His centre back partner Jan Bednarek came second as he also made 72 interceptions in the 31 league games he featured.
The Saints finished the season at 15th position with 40 points from 38 games.
