Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Black Queens for their triumphant qualification for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). His words, a testament to the pride and admiration felt by the nation, resonated with warmth and encouragement.

“Congratulations!” exclaimed Okraku, his voice filled with genuine excitement. “Ghana is proud of what you represent; Passion, Determination & Hard work. Ayekoo to the entire team.” These words, laden with appreciation, were a recognition of not just a qualification but a display of character and dedication exhibited by the Black Queens throughout their journey.

The team, bathed in the glow of success, absorbed Okraku’s words with a mix of humility and joy. The President’s acknowledgment added an extra layer of significance to their achievement, emphasizing the values that underpinned their success – passion for the game, unwavering determination, and the relentless hard work that had propelled them to secure a coveted spot in the prestigious tournament.

As the echoes of congratulatory messages reverberated through the air, the Black Queens embraced their accomplishment with a deep sense of pride. Okraku’s words became a rallying cry, encapsulating the spirit that defined their journey.

The team, united in purpose, stood tall, not just as football players but as ambassadors of Ghana’s sportsmanship, resilience, and collective spirit.

The qualification was more than a ticket to WAFCON; it was a shared victory for a nation rallying behind its talented and determined athletes.

In Okraku’s congratulatory message, the essence of Ghana’s pride was vividly expressed, affirming that the Black Queens were not just victorious on the field but had also captured the hearts of a nation.
