The Confederation of African Football, (CAF) has given the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to decide on the venue for their senior national team matches, sportsworldghana.com can report.
The Organizing Body for Africa soccer has asked the four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions a week to submit their venue for the upcoming 2023 Qualifiers for AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.
Ghana had problems with regards to a venue for their Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs against Nigeria in March which CAF finally approved the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for the epic game.
CAF, then granted Ghana a temporary usage of the venue for the game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria last month.
The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament was held in South Africa, Johannesburg on Tuesday evening.
Ghana were paired with Angola, Central Africa Republic and Madagascar for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
The qualifiers will start in June and currently Ghana are without a venue for the games.
