Otto Addo named 26-man squad for Uganda and Nigeria friendlies to be played in Marrakech, Morocco in the final week of March.
New players were included whilst many household names were omitted. Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams and Joseph Paintsil who recently moved to the MLS giants LA Galaxy were all omitted alongside goalkeeper Richard Ofori who was Ghana’s number 1 in the 2023 AFCON.

Joseph Painstil:
As a result of his move to the United States, there are some further immigration documentation procedures he must embark upon which is why he is unable to travel outside the United States until the process is completed.
Thomas Partey:
Asked to be excused from the game to gain full fitness following recent injuries.
Inaki Williams :
Pulled out of the games to have some rest and fully recover from recent injury setbacks
Richard Ofori : Otto Addo decided to try new goalkeepers as Ofori is currently looking for new club as he nears Orlando Pirates exit.
Ghana will take on Nigeria on Friday, March 22, before facing Uganda four days later.
