Ghana attacker Kwame Opoku Adubofour, has earned a spot in the English EFL League One Team of the Week, following his impressive display over the weekend.
The promising Ghanaian international netted his first goal of the season for Peterborough United FC in the English League One on Tuesday evening.
The young lad also provided an assist in his team’s victory over Barnsley FC on the road in a hard earned 3-1 away win in the English third tier.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, Barry Cotter scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up six minutes into the second half but Hecter Kyprianou equalized on the 74th minute mark.
Poku then switched on and set up Jonson Clarke-Harris to scored the second goal for the Blue and Whites outfit as they took the lead after 76 minutes.
Five minutes to the end of the match, Poku found the back of the net for his team with a brilliant goal to make the final score 3-1 to Peterborough.
