Ghana’s Black Stars forward Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer has made it two goals and three assists in the German Bundesliga 2 this season after three games for Hamburger SV.

The Ghanaian international continued his outstanding form for Hamburger SV in Germany, providing a key assist in the club’s emphatic 7-1 victory in the first round of the DFB Pokal.

The 22-year-old forward played the full 90 minutes as Hamburger SV dominated their opponents on Sunday at the Hänsch-Arena.

Hamburger SV took control of the match early, securing a 2-0 lead by halftime. Immanuel Pherai opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed by a second goal from Miro Muheim in the 31st minute.

In the second half, the visitors maintained their dominance, adding five more goals through Davie Selke, Immanuel Pherai, Fabio Balde, Tim Möller, and Robert Glatzel.

The convincing win advances Hamburger SV to the next round of the Cup competition. Konigsdorffer has been in exceptional form this season, scoring three goals in just two Bundesliga 2 games and contributing an assist in the DFB Pokal.
