Ghana international Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer delivered a stellar performance to help Hamburger SV secure victory over FC Heidenheim in the German Bundesliga.
The Black Stars attacker started and played for 68 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 2-0 away victory in a highly competitive clash, held at the Voith-Arena on Saturday.
The 24-year-old played a pivotal role by registering his name on the scoresheet, contributing to the sides’ victory.
Ransford Yeboah opened the scoring for the visitors before the half hour mark after being set up by Philip Otele, ensuring they went to the break with a goal advantage.
Hamburger SV continued their dominance in the second half, with Rayan Philippe scoring in the 78th-minute mark to cement victory for the visitors.
The Ghanaian international has had a modest performance in the current Bundesliga campaign, scoring just two goals in 20 appearances. In all competitions, the forward has racked up three goals in 23 matches.
With the World Cup fast approaching, the enterprising attacker will be hoping to maintain scoring form to earn a place in the Black Stars squad for the tournament, scheduled for June-July
