On February 7, Jojo Wollacott made his injury comeback during a friendly match between Charlton Athletic’s under-21 team and Bournemouth.
The goalkeeper was handed a start in the friendly game behind closed doors as Charlton defeated the Cherries 2-1.
Since November 2022, the 26-year-old has been unable to play due to a finger injury he sustained before a league match against Burton Albion.
Wollacott, who played a crucial role in helping Ghana qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, missed the event due to surgery.
The goalie is still recovering, but he might soon be back in action after playing goal for Charlton’s U21s in a friendly earlier this week.
Wollacott’s return date to the first team roster is unknown, but given his midweek performance, the Addicks might see him there soon.
