Ghana’s left-back Gideon Mensah has bid French Ligue 1 side FC Girondins Bordeaux following their relegation from the French top-flight league.
Bordeaux finished last on the league table at the end of the season and the Ghana star has decided to move on with his career.
He joined the club from Austrian Típico Bundesliga giant Red Bull Salzburg for the entire 2021-22 season in France.
At the end of his loan spell, the former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate has opted for a return to his parent club.
The 23-year-old played 23 games and provided two assists for the club.
Bordeaux have been relegated to the National League 1 due to fina reasons instead of French Ligue 2.
