In the latest Coca-Cola FIFA ranking for July, the Black Stars of Ghana, the senior national team, have maintained their position.
They continue to hold the 59th spot in the global standings and remain 11th in the Africa rankings.
The top ten in the global rankings have seen no changes, with exclusively European and South American teams occupying these positions.
Argentina retains the top spot, followed by France in second place and Brazil in third. England, Belgium, and Croatia follow closely in fourth, fifth, and sixth places, respectively.
In the Africa rankings, Morocco retains its position as the top-ranked team at the 13th spot globally. Senegal is ranked 18th, Tunisia at 31st, Algeria at 33rd, and Egypt completes the top 5 in 34th place.
During the month of June 2023, Ghana played a single game, a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Black Stars will resume international action in September when they face the Central African Republic (CAR) in the final round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
