Ghanaian midfielder Nana Boateng has completed a move to Romanian club FC Petrolul. The club has confirmed the signing of the experienced player on a one-and-a-half-year contract.
The 31-year-old, whose full name is Bismark Adjei-Boateng, returns to Romania’s Superliga after spending time in South Korea with Jeonbuk Hyundai. His return brings valuable experience to the Petrolul squad.
Nana Boateng is well known in Romanian football. He previously played for CFR Cluj, where he was an important member of the team and helped them win the Romanian league title in 2022.
FC Petrolul will be hoping Boateng’s experience, calmness in midfield, and winning mentality will help the team perform strongly in the league.
