This upward movement can be attributed to their unbeaten record under the leadership of head coach Chris Hughton.
The Black Stars’ draw against Madagascar in the AFCON qualifier played a role in earning valuable points and surpassing their previous ranking of 60th.
In terms of African teams, Ghana currently sits just outside the top 10, holding the 11th position.
Morocco leads the rankings among African nations, followed by Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt, who complete the top 5.
Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, La Cote d’Ivoire, and Burkina Faso round out the top 10 African countries in the rankings.
On a global scale, Argentina, the reigning World Cup champions, maintain their position at the top of the rankings.
Their recent victories in friendly matches against Australia and Indonesia have solidified their lead, with France and Brazil closely following in second and third place, respectively.
Significantly, England has surpassed Belgium to claim the fourth spot, while Croatia has also moved ahead of the Netherlands.
The top 10 is completed by Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
Among the notable changes in the rankings, Kazakhstan has experienced the most significant improvement, climbing eight places to reach the 104th position.
On the other hand, Wales has seen a notable decline, dropping nine places to the 35th position.
