Two-time Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars FC ended Bofoakwa Tano FC unbeaten run in style on Wednesday afternoon at home.

The Fire lads made it a second consecutive win at the Nana Agyemang Badu park in Dormaa for the first time this season in the Ghana Premier League with two emphatic victories.

The win for Aduana Stars ended the visitors long unbeaten run which stretch way back to their days in the Ghana Division One League Zone One through to the opening seven matches of the top-flight season.

After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, Isaac Mintah broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early inside the 56th minute mark of the match to give the home fans something to cheer for.

On the 61st minute mark of the match, Emmanuel Obuobi scored the second goal for the home team to make it 2-0 with a beautiful strike with Aduana beginning to get into the game more with commanding display.

Twenty minutes from the full time whistle to go, Mintah grabbed his second goal of the match to put the hosts three goals up but Saaka Dauda scored for Bofoakwa Tano to make it 3-1 on the 75th minute mark.

Two minutes later, Obuobi restored Aduana Stars three goals lead with his brace before Saaka Dauda also grabbed his brace to make it 4-2 at full time.

Aduana Stars goes top of the league table after eight games with 15 matches with Bofoakwa suffering their first defeat on their return to the top-flight.
