Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew has prolonged his contract with Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
The club confirmed this news on November 1, revealing that the Black Stars striker’s contract will now run until June 2025.
A statement from Crystal Palace said, “Jordan Ayew has signed a new contract extension with Crystal Palace, committing his future to the club until June 2025.”
The statement also noted, “The Palace No. 9 has made an impressive start to the 2023/24 season, most recently scoring an excellent half-volley against Tottenham Hotspur, contributing to crucial goals at Sheffield United, Brentford, and Plymouth, and winning the cinch Player of the Month award for August.
“Ayew has been a regular presence in Palace’s lineup since joining from Swansea City on loan in August 2018, playing in 186 matches across all competitions and featuring in all 41 of Palace’s games last season.”
With his extensive experience in the English Premier League, Jordan is expected to play a crucial role for the Eagles over the next two years. Additionally, he remains an essential player for Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars.
