Chelsea FC inflicted a painful 1-0 defeat to the Ghana Premier League newbies Bibiani Gold Stars FC at the Golden City Park in Berekum with a lone goal.
The Blues beat the Yellow and Green Miners 1-0 to move further up on the league table after 18 matches with 25 points and six points above the relegation zone.
Six minutes to the end of the opening 45 minutes of the match, Osei Owusu scored the only goal of the match to make sure the three points remained in Berekum.
Gold Stars are now just one point above the relegation zone and will play Medeama SC next at the Duns Park in Bibiani next weekend in the ongoing 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
