Heart of Lions will welcome newly promoted Vision FC to the Kpando Sports Stadium on Saturday for match week 6 of the Ghana Premier League.
Heart of Lions, currently on a steady run with three consecutive draws, will be aiming to secure a victory after holding Medeama SC to a stalemate in their last away fixture.
Coach Bashiru Hayford’s side sits 7th on the league table with 7 points and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten home record, which stretches to 13 consecutive games in the league. During this impressive home run, they have conceded just four goals, showcasing a solid defensive performance.
Vision FC, however, will pose a significant challenge. The newly promoted side is coming off a 1-0 win over Basake Holy Stars and currently occupy 6th place on the league table with 8 points, having won two, drawn two, and lost one of their first five games. Vision FC has scored five and conceded three goals so far this season.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides in the Ghanaian top flight, and both teams will be eager to claim the three points to further solidify their positions in the upper half of the table. Heart of Lions are determined to defend their home fortress, while Vision FC seeks to continue their promising start to life in the Premier League.
