Former Black Starlets head coach Laryea Kingston has expressed his willingness to take on a coaching role with any of Ghana’s national teams in the future, provided he receives adequate support.
Kingston resigned from his position as U-17 head coach in May after the Black Starlets were unable to reach the finals of the WAFU B Cup of Nations in Accra, which also resulted in missing out on another AFCON tournament. Despite stepping down following a semifinal loss to Burkina Faso, Kingston remains open to collaborating with the Ghana Football Association.
“For me, any time Ghana calls upon me and provides the necessary support, I am ready to return and give back to my country because that is what we are all striving for,” Kingston told Joy Sports.
“C.K. has played and coached the game, so people like us are eager to contribute to the growth of our football now more than ever.”
