Karela United FC whipped Techiman XI Wonders FC at the CAM Park in Anyinase on Sunday afternoon in the ongoing 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season.
The home team wasted no time in announcing their intention in the match against the struggling Wonders side.
Samuel Attah Kumi scored the first goal of the match just three minutes after Kickoff to put the Anyinase Lads in a deserving lead following a blistering start to the game.
Striker, Richard Berko added the second goal for the home team three minutes to the end of the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Berko scored his second and Karela’s third right from the break before Ibrahim Laar made it 3-1 to reduce the deficit to two on the hour mark.
Eight minutes later, midfielder Umar Bashiru restored the home team’s three goals lead but Abass Ganiu grabbed a second for the visitors eight minutes away from the final whistle to make the final score 4-2.
