King Faisal FC succumbed to Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
The Insha Allah Boys succumbed to the Never Give Up lads at home in their week 15 clash on Wednesday afternoon.
Just 14 minutes into the game, Abdul Latif grabbed the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up to send the home fans into jubilation.
King Faisal’s lead didn’t last for long when Nurudeen Abdulai netted the equalizing goal for the away team nine minutes later to make it 1-1.
Four minutes later, the away team were awarded a spot kick which was converted nicely by former Accra Hearts of Oak SC defender Vincent Atingah.
The first half ended 2-1 to the away team. Three minutes after returning from the break, Kwesi Donsu added the third goal to make it 3-1 after 48 minutes.
Ten minutes later, former Medeama SC midfielder and Asokwa Deportivo SC captain Joseph Gordon scored to make it 2-3 with over 30 minutes left to play.
Medeama won the game 3-2 and returned to Tarkwa with all three points.
