Vision FC ended their winless run with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nsoatreman at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Sunday.
Despite being outpossessed for much of the match, Vision displayed clinical finishing to claim all three points.
Abdul Sulemana was the hero for the hosts, scoring the only goal of the match with a composed finish that underlined Vision’s efficiency in front of goal. Nsoatreman, who dominated possession and created several chances, were left to rue their inability to convert any of their opportunities.
The result provides a much-needed boost for Vision FC, lifting them to 10th place on the league table. Meanwhile, Nsoatreman’s defeat sees them remain in 15th place, as their struggles continue to worsen.
Vision will aim to build on this win and gain momentum, while Nsoatreman must quickly regroup to reverse their slide down the standings.
