The Tarkwa lads beat the Samreboi Boys to record their second consecutive win after losing to Accra Hearts of Oak SC last Sunday at the Akoon Park Park.
New signing Jonathan Sowah broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up five minutes into the second half of the match following a goalless first 45 minutes of the match.
Vincent Atingah scored the second goal for the home team to help them beat the Green and Whites Timbers 2-0 to move to seventeen on the table.
They will travel up north in the next round of fixtures to face Tamale City FC in the week 17 clash of the Ghana top-flight league.
