Ghana Premier League: Medeama pip Nations FC at home

Ghana champions Medeama SC on Wednesday afternoon at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa beat newly promoted team Nations FC to get their second win of the season.

The CAF Champions League side secured a hard fought narrow 1 – 0 win at home over the Blue and Yellow outfits to make it wins and a defeat in their last three matches.

Despite tthe immense effort by both teams, the opening 45 minutes of the match ended in a goalless draw.

Two minutes after the hour mark, Mamudu Kamaradin took matters into his hands by scoring the only goal of the match to win all three points for the home team.

Medeama boast of two wins, two defeats and a draw so far this season in the Ghana Premier League and are 11th on the league table with seven points and a game in hand.
