At the WAFA Park in Sogakope, Great Olympics and Karela United played to a draw on Wednesday afternoon. The match ended without any goals scored.

Great Olympics, who had lost 3-0 in their previous match against Bibiani Gold Stars, controlled most of the game. They had the ball for about 60% of the time and had several opportunities to score, but they couldn’t put the ball in the net despite making eight attempts.

Karela United, on the other hand, played defensively, staying back and soaking up the pressure from Olympics. They seemed content to wait for chances to counter-attack.

Even though Great Olympics were dominant, they only managed to earn one point from the match. This result keeps them in 9th place in the league standings with 28 points.

As for Karela United, they stay in 15th place, just four points above the relegation zone. However, depending on the results of Thursday’s matches, they could drop down into the bottom three.

Although there were no goals scored, the match was still thrilling, with both teams showing determination and fighting spirit as they aimed to secure important points in the Ghana Premier League.
