Ghana Premier League Preview: Relegation Threatened Hearts visit Berekum Chelsea on final day

Ghanaian giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC are stucked in the relegation battle this season after a poor run of form in the just about ending Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are in a bad form of their lives after losing four straight matches in the ongoing 2022-23 Ghana Premier League against teams like Samartex FC, Medeama SC, Legon Cities FC and recently at home to Real Tamale United FC.

Chelsea players and administrators of the club have sent out a strong warning to the Rainbow Boys ahead of the highly anticipated game at the Golden City park in Berekum on Sunday afternoon.

Hearts of Oak could be relegated should the likes of Tamale City FC, Karela United FC, Accra Great Olympics FC, Real Tamale United FC and Accra Lions FC win their games and the Phobians fail to pick up a point away from home.

Chelsea boast of just one win from their last five matches in the league with their only win coming against Accra Lions and have lost their last three games.

Hearts of Oak on the other side has one win in five games to their name and the win was against relegated Kumasi King Faisal FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts were 3-1 victors when the two teams clashed at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first half of the season on February 11.

Hearts of Oak are without a defeat in their last two visits to the Golden City park with two clean sheets from two games and would be a bit confident going into the last game of the 2022-23 as they need a point to survive.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
