Vision FC were left frustrated on Sunday after being held to a 0–0 draw by Young Apostles at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium in Tema in a cagey 2025/26 Ghana Premier League encounter.
The home side, eager to turn around their recent poor run, controlled much of the match and created the better chances. Vision produced six attempts at goal—four of them on target—but were continually denied by the outstanding Young Apostles goalkeeper, who kept his side in the game with several key saves.
Young Apostles, entering the fixture on the back of two consecutive draws, adopted a compact approach. They stayed well-organised defensively and attacked in calculated bursts, registering five shots, including three that tested the Vision defence. However, their finishing lacked the precision needed to punish the hosts.
Both clubs showed strong defensive discipline, closing down spaces quickly and preventing each other from finding clear openings. Vision pushed harder in the final minutes in search of a late winner but Young Apostles absorbed the pressure superbly to secure a valuable away result.
The stalemate leaves Vision FC in 12th place with 15 points, while Young Apostles move to 9th with 17 points. Although both teams may see it as an opportunity missed, the draw keeps them within reach of the top half of the table as the season progresses.
