Aduana FC reclaimed the top spot in the Ghana Premier League with an impressive 3–1 win over Berekum Chelsea in a heated Bono derby on Sunday.

Playing at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, the Fire Boys wasted no time asserting themselves, taking the lead in the 6th minute through Samuel Ansah. Their pressure continued into the second half, and Hensen Amponsah doubled the advantage in the 56th minute. Berekum Chelsea briefly threatened a comeback when Seidu Abubakar pulled one back, but Emmanuel Marfo restored Aduana’s cushion in the 84th minute to seal a commanding victory.

The win lifts Aduana to 23 points, overtaking Medeama—who drop to third—while Heart of Lions climb into second place. Aduana have now recorded three consecutive victories as their title ambitions strengthen.

At the Wenchi Sports Stadium, Young Apostles and Hearts of Oak battled to a tense 0–0 draw. Both sides displayed defensive discipline, limiting clear scoring opportunities. Hearts of Oak remain 6th, with Young Apostles sitting 9th after the stalemate.

Supporters at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex enjoyed one of the weekend’s most thrilling encounters as Vision FC and Heart of Lions played out a spirited 2–2 draw. After a cautious first half, Lions struck just two minutes after the restart through in-form forward Michael Ephson. Vision responded quickly via Maxwell Kwaku Sensah, before Lions regained the lead through Paul Atta Agyei in the 78th minute. Vision, however, refused to fold, as George Tei struck late to rescue a point for the hosts.

In Samreboi, late drama defined the clash between FC Samartex 1996 and Asante Kotoko. A last-minute penalty miss by Emmanuel Mamah denied Samartex a potential win, leaving the match goalless. Kotoko remain 4th, three points behind leaders Aduana but with a game in hand.

Faisal Charwartey delivered a standout performance for Nations FC, scoring a brilliant brace in their 2–0 victory over defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars. Charwartey struck in the 7th and 38th minutes as Nations climbed to 11th on 13 points, while Gold Stars dropped to 5th with 19 points.

Elsewhere, struggling Eleven Wonders earned a valuable point with a late 1–1 draw against Hohoe United. The home side went ahead in the 28th minute through Safianu Usman, but Mathew Amponsah snatched an equaliser in the 89th minute. Wonders now have four draws but remain the only team yet to register a win this season.

The University of Ghana Stadium hosted a five-goal thriller as Swedru All Blacks secured their first away win of the campaign with a 3–2 triumph over Dreams FC. Rudolf Junior Mensah opened the scoring for All Blacks before Suraj Seidu levelled from the spot. Dreams took the lead through Yaovi Chris Guede, but All Blacks hit back with Abdul Aziz equalising just before halftime. Benjamin Adjei delivered the decisive goal early in the second half to seal a hard-earned victory for the visitors.
