Black Stars captain Andre Ayew was at the Flagstaff house on Friday afternoon as he paid a courtesy call to the head of state of Ghana President Akufo-Addo.
The Al Sadd forward has been in Ghana for the past week training ahead of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and he visited the President together with his media personnel Fiifi Tackie as the held discussions on the team.
Ayew presented an Al Sadd jersey to the president as a special gift for him for his support.
“Thank you his excellency Mr President.” Ayew posted with a picture with the Ghana first gentleman.
Ayew is expected to lead Ghana for next week’s AFCON 2023 qualifiers and also the four nations tournament in Japan.
